Welcome North Dakota Conference of Social Welfare members and friends!
Plans for the 2021 conference are underway for an in-person conference in Bismarck September 22-24, 2021. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary Conference.
Our plans are to have a celebration of contributions of our past members, current members, and the North Dakota Conference of Social Welfare’s friends. The committees are working to provide an informative and enjoyable conference that will appeal to the broad field of social welfare.
We are inviting providers to have displays, which is another important piece of the conference. That opportunity to visit with providers, develop contacts, and gather resources to take back to your agencies and people you serve.
The past year has brought many changes on how we go about serving our clients and performing our work. Computers, mail, e-mail, masks, hand sanitizer, and home offices have become essential tools for us to serve people. With these adjustments we have lost some of our networking abilities, not unlike the information gathered from conversations with our counterparts over a beverage. Building those relationships helps so many workers to add resources and gain support. Networking is important as we are not an island when it comes to helping!
We hope to see you there!!!!!
